Really fun image.
Munich?
I have a hard time keeping up with where you are -- all the globe-hopping. Last I saw you were at a conference in St Louis. Then I blinked and you're in Munich. And there long enough to belong to a photography meetup group. Hope you're having fun with that.

Thanks, all, for your comments! I borrowed a fish eye lens that someone had ordered off of Amazon, and it was a $200 Optika version for a Canon mount. I had played with the $1400 Canon version before, and coveted it, but fish eyes are for play (in my case) and I can't justify the more expensive one but the cheaper one has possibilities . . . although in some photos, I could see a blue/purple aura around the edge depending on how the sun entered the lens. @vera365 -- some day, I'll take the trip up to visit you for a photowalk! @mcsiegle -- I have a hard time keeping up with where I am, too! With apologies, the St Louis photos I recently posted were a few days late -- the packing, traveling, settling in to Munich took me a few days.
@vera365 -- this year, I am only here for two weeks (typically I'm here at least a month). But I'll try next year, hoping to get there before you leave!
@joansmor Sadly, Taffy is in a different place than I am. I'm in Munich, she's in Beaver Island at present. But sadder yet is that despite all our photowalks and travels together, we can't share lenses because she's a Nikon shooter and I'm Canon.
