We took a delightful boat tour but the photos from the boat were at peculiar angles and all memorable places but not particularly interesting as photos. But this? Yes, it reminds me of how long the bridges were, and how many beautiful bridges we crossed under.
Sadly, my 8-day visa meant my stay in Russia is over and I had to leave before the end of this day. It has been a wonderful experience to be with such interesting people, and to see a small bit of the rich history.
This looks like the Red bridge just across from the Isaac's Cathedral, the widest in Saint Petersburg with its almost 100 m. I too took a boat tour with the kids the lats time we were there, and - as you said, had almost no "hits" in the pictures, except for just a couple. The scenery changed too fast, and once on the boat, I felt more like just enjoying the view in general rather than jumping up and down with the camera. I hope you had a wonderful visit!
I didn't know there are many bridges here. It looks very colourful under this one going towards the light! St Petersburg is obviously a wonderful place to visit. I have some friends here at the moment but learnt that the husband is in hospital here at this time!
