Alternate Image of Roasted Tomatoes

Taken under very different light conditions, out of the oven (and the glaring light within a dark space) and under the overhead light that is less sharp. Processed differently. Hmmm . . . but the tomatoes will taste the same.

Wow. Really different effect. A reminder that photography is based on light. It's a little wider shot than the other, but the big difference is the light.

Both images are wonderful, Junko. This one gets my vote purely because the colours are more instantly true to my minds interpretation of cooked tomatoes.

They do have a wonderful colour - seems to be more intense when they are roasted!

Mmmmm, nothing so good as a slow-roasted tomato, except perhaps a slow-roasted home-grown tomato. We had a very poor crop this year and will be eating them all fresh.

These look great Junko! And for the record, I did eat Kimchi yesterday, and I liked it too! The bibimbap we made was delicious as well. I'm converted!
