Chikurin-ji

Built on top of Mt Godai in 724, Chikirin temple is set in a wooded and mossy area that lend the air of seclusion. These stone pieces have names engraved on them; I noticed that at least four had my surname on them and wondered who they were. One is the very bright one in the foreground..

Great repetitive but different patterns and structures. Love your comp and the black and white treatment. Very touching picture.
