This photo is from the incredible 18-hour day that began with this sunrise at the beach full of ice pieces from the Jokulsarlon Glacier and ended with the Aurora Borealis: a day of perfect weather. But today, it's raining, windy, and not conducive to photography so we spent some time getting Lightroom tips from our Iceland photoguide and teacher, Páll Jökull, a new 365 member @palljokull. He modeled editing on a pre-sunrise photo, but I liked this one with the sunburst so it gave me a chance to practice what I had learned. VERY needed lessons for me, since I only started LR six months ago.
I am very new to lightroom, as in more lost than found. But I do appreciate this image. The sky is magnificent. But I have seen magnificent skies before, even in less exotic locales. So I appreciate the way that your camera placement and composition emphasizes the foreground ice crystal slight more. Very nice image.
