I booked my travel for a conference at which I was to speak, and then they changed the dates -- but I had not been notified until after I had purchased my tickets so my husband said, "just take the week in a nice hotel and enjoy Valencia since you've never been there." So I did. Reading, writing, photographing, and relaxing. Oh, and I did end up giving a talk at the university anyway.
A wonderful spiral staircase image! I like the lines that surround the 'jewels' that I assume are the light fixtures, and the way the line comes in from the corner. B&W suits it well.
