I was truly lucky because I hear that you don't always see them on their way up (as Babs noted for this time of year). @moonmtn -- Kahsia, it's winter here and out on the water and with the wind whipping, it's definitely cold. But not like Chicago winter cold. @joysabin -- thanks for noting the composition because at first I cropped it super tight because that tail is so awesome and you can see that the tips are a bit damaged and even see the barnacles on it! But I decided I liked the context of the cliffs.
