How could I resist posting this -- @caterina and her husband took me to the rooftop of a fancy department store and we were lucky enough to get in to this area where you could see this panoramic view of the city!
@jgpittenger -- I did shoot it vertically, and I was limited by needing to capture the domes of San Marco, and by the fact that some of the lower part was blocked from our view. But I do agree with you. I wish I could go back with a different lens!
Oh super! I only ever went to Venice once for one day when hubby and I were courting about a million years ago. Would love to return. It always looks fabulous in photos.
