Thank you for your comments. And no, I didn't board a train with a fish under my arm, but being Japanese, I do eat fish with their head attached. As do my NY friends. (Did you see the photo of our dinner last night? fish with heads on)
Grand Central Station has become quite a full-service place with a range of shopping and eating and service options, and even an Apple Store right in the Grand Concourse. My hotel was only a few blocks away and very convenient to meeting friends at Grand Central for breakfast, etc.
i don't mind the heads, i just never learned how to properly eat them although i liked eating the eye when i was little; then you get this little white bead and play with it. :-)
