I really appreciate how much you liked it.
@777margo -- it ends at ground level in DuPont Circle, Washington, DC.
@casablanca -- such a fun comparison, especially for someone like me who's in children's literature.
@pistache -- you're right, not a composite -- especially since I don't know how to do such things. You're great at it, though!
@rosiekerr -- that Walt Whitman quote is wonderful and appeared a few years ago after a renovation at that station. It wasn't there during the years my husband and I commuted to DC back in the early 200s.
@domenicododaro -- nice of whoever planted that tree to put it right in the best place for this photo :)
@taffy -- strangely, although this photo is one of the photos with the highest number of favs that I have ever had, it didn't make it to TT and I posted it a day after I took it, yet another photo of mine with half the number of favs did make it to TT.

As I was going down the escalator, I knew that it could be a really cool scene going up so of course, I went back up and found that there is only one moment in which I can get that complete circle. (that's why it's so close to the top of the frame) Thanks again, everyone! Fun sharing this moment with you.
