I'm holding on with both hands AND both feet, see?
But how do I do that upside-down thing the big squirrels do to get the food? I don't think my legs are long enough. (... says the photographer whose legs are so short she has to stand on a step stool to fill the feeders.)
@30pics4jackiesdiamond@happypat -- I think Baby has to grow into her tail, she's still so little. The proportions always make me think of human babies and toddlers and their big heads and short legs.
@leonbuys83 -- The bigger squirrels can hang upside down from the top of the curved stand but Baby -- well, photos forthcoming to show what she did to meet her challenge. Stay tuned!
@seattlite -- thanks! I always imagine the squirrels (and chipmunks and inroads) all talking to me and what they might be saying. And I talk to them, too.
@summerfield -- the truth is that the squirrels always remove the holder once their health food corn thing is gone and then they roll it around the yard so I have to look for it. I keep telling them that the better they hide it, the longer they have to wait to get their next one. I used to just put those smashed-corn things on a plate but the squirrels roll it around and get it all dirty so I insist on waiting until the corn holder shows up.
@bpfoto -- OH SO MANY ! By next spring you will have squirrel-photo-viewing-overload.
@carole_sandford Thanks, Carole! I adore watching these little babies looking so sweet.
Great capture
