Absolutely worth a visit -- or rather, visits because you can't possibly absorb all it has to offer in a single visit. So engaging, so interactive, so well put together. From the opening movie that gives the arc of the development of African American music to the individual listening stations that allow you to see who each musician's influencers, contemporaries, and followers are to the booths for karaoke style sing-along and dancing, the museum is joyous and fun.
