It's warbler season -- May in Chicago is when the warblers fly through from their winter homes to their summer homes, lingering only long enough to eat and rest up along their journey. Some nights, thousands of birds fly through. Then the following morning is when all the birders and photographers head out to The Magic Hedge, a very small natural habitat that juts into Lake Michigan.
Wow that’s quite a beautiful sight….lovely to have them return every year. When your country is as big as the as the USA you have migrating birds in the same country, our migrating birds come from different countries.
You certainly are on a mission to capture them allHe is so pretty. Wonderful capture. I don't think I have seen this Nashville warbler all the way south done here.
