I've just spent 10 days in Cuba and am reflecting on how such a different experience impacts my overall Photographic Journey, as Arthur Meyerson calls it. My interest in streets at night have taken on a new dimension.
This is so powerful. I guess the only problem is how will you shoot at night in Chicago and not freeze to death or get attacked? I fear you and Taffy have so far surpassed me that you wonβt want to shoot with me any more
@jgpittenger -- Jane, first of all, there's no contest! We all shoot differently and that's why we depend on each other to learn and grow together and have FUN being together. We will always want to shoot with you!! As for not freezing or getting attacked, it's so much scarier in the US because of guns. I feel completely safe walking around at night outside the US.
Nice light on the wet street and overall a wonderful capture. It evokes a feeling that I can't quite put my finger on. The quiet harmony of day to day living is the best I can come up with.
@skipt07 -- What a nice surprise to hear, Skip! I didn't think anything with less than 20 favs would make it on TT so I'm pleased to hear it made it in at all. Thanks for your generous assessment and support!
Thanks for all the inspiration. All the best for Xmas and 2023
So sharp and noise free. The details are amazing. Huge FAV!
Personally, I think it should have finished higher!
