The tiles on the bottom of the pool make the reflection look impressionistic like a Seurat's pointillism.

I am RARELY up at that hour of morning, and never outside so I;m lucky to have caught that morning sun. @tomtom -- yes, it's in Wilmette, Illinois, and is about 5 minutes from my house. I always see it from the airplane when flying into O'Hare if I have a window seat facing north. @thirdjoe -- you are absolutely right. Being inside, you see the lacy concrete work that casts shadows and envelopes you in quiet light. In fact, just sitting outside and looking at it makes you feel calmer.
