Brilliant composition, Junko! I love the low POV, the flower petals strewn about, and the long line going beyond where we see the end. This was a wonderful parade and you photographed it beautifully!
@maggiemae -- they do have fun! One little girl threw her flowers directly into my camera, and when I looked up and smiled at her, she giggled. I only wish I could have reacted quickly enough to capture that lovely fistful of flowers! @joansmor -- I intentionally cut off the identifying features of children whenever I can. Although when they are in a parade or on stage, I feel it's less of a problem since those are two places parents must expect photos to be taken of their children. @taffy thanks for noting what works about this photo! This is the street we crossed often, to get to the organic soap store and to take the tram to Hala Stulechia. missing you here! @agedrunner@dibzgreasley@seanna -- thanks for your comments! @gosia -- I am sadly leaving Poland on June 20, after being here since the beginning of February. Wrocław in July is full of festivities, and the film festival is at the end of the month. Let's keep in touch about dates because I will undoubtedly return to Wrocław next May, and undoubtedly at other times as well. I'll be in Gdansk and Warsaw in September if you are around there and then . . .
