Hercules Beetle

(George Washington Carver) Fortunately for me there is the internet so I learned that this is called the eastern Hercules beetle or dynastes tityus.

@rontu Thank you. I was fortunate to find an intact insect that had died. So, of course, I brought it home for a photo session.
