Weather Vane by k9photo

Weather Vane

This was the only weather vane I spotted and it's in the shape of a cow, an appropriate choice since it was located on a small cattle farm. The first weather vanes were made around 48 B.C. by the Greeks and possibly simultaneously by the Chinese. In Greece weather vanes were made in the shape of gods and as tributes to the gods. A lovely building and great weather vane. Unusual to see a cow but very apt in its location. Great colours in this.
