This is a closeup of the "berries" that sit on the base of each leaf of the tiger lily plant from my 365 album for today. These "berries" are fascinating to me. I am not sure they are called berries but it was the best word that describes them, at least to me.

@thewatersphotos Gary, see the link above that Mags provided. I didnât touch the bulbs but Mags said her grandmother gathered them for future plants.
