apron me

Today I made a Japanese style crossover apron, drafting the pattern from scratch following a youtube... the things you do when its too hot to go outside!

They sell these very expensive aprons in a local craft/antique/knick knack shop. They fascinated me when I saw them.

I like that. A friend made one for me two years ago. I showed her some photos and asked her to help me make one. She ran with it and before I knew I had one and enough cloth was left over for her to make one for herself and another friend of mine.
