Great photo but I hate them. Lots of my students and their parents have suffered with Dengue Fever this year here and I had malaria when we lived in Ghana.
@linzthom lol i had aperfectly good blackbird shot today too, but this one was a bit different! @pam1 they are sharing the fishtank with the tadpoles, they line up across the front in the sun. I should probably scoop them out but after watching them awhile I am fascinated by them, and the funny springtaily things also in there. the world is so full of things we don't normally notice! @cbawernsen thanks for the favs, can't say I expected that! @lucypics@stevepam@jean_willis@noragentian@gigiz@lunaksi@masosy@steampowered@wordpixman glad you like @thirtysevenways can totally understand
oh my goodness - i know they can spread misery but they are just fascinating - had to download on my comp to turn them upside down and get massive close up! are they on a mirrored ceiling?
@gozoinklings they are in a fishtank, so the mirror effect is from loking up at the surface of the water. they hang like this with their breathing tubes at the surface, then wriggle down to the bottom to feed on detritis, fascinating
Awesome close up
