Tui

The tuis have started to frequent the native fuchsia tree outside my bedroom window., I have the perfect hide. They are so fast! I got adrenalin shakes trying to capture it.

@bobfoto yes they are, the settlers called them the parson bird for obvious reasons, they have an amazing vocabulary and sound awesome when they fly.

@kali66 - they look like a dark Apostlebird mixed with a White Winged Chough. Nice.
