Giant fav!I love the shape and curves of foxgloves and tried to photograph them in black and white no -where -anyplace -close- to -near as beautifully and successfully as this!
@mzzhope thanks so much Hope,. I sat a long while appreciating these foxgloves in the strong afternoon light, I loved the way the leaf parts behave as well as the stages of opening of the blooms, but somehow the colour didn't show this off to such perfection as the black and white does. it was quite boring to me in colour, more a snapshot, but as soon as I changed it to black and white I went WOW, like you did :)
I visited a lady's garden to day and was the first time I had studied such flowers...they remind me of leopards so I wonder why foxes are involved...very pretty
