Quite surreal really. I think its caused by ice in the upper atmosphere..but then again Im only an armchair meterologist, so it could be caused by something entirely different :)
@onetree with RAW capability and some photoshop magic this particular powershot is pretty versatile, I am happy with it :) Thanks for the follow, I enjoy following yours :)
Good picture, but this is not a sun dog or parhelion... it's a sun halo. Keep your eye on the sky, because you can see them about 100 times per year in most areas of the world. ;-)
