I was given access to a couple of laden plum trees, so the past few days have been making plum jam, spiced plum jam, plum and apple jam, plum sauce and Worcestershire sauce. seasonal joys.
I can enjoy this picture on two levels. As a photographer, and as a jam maker. I've never made plum jam before but I make about 8 quarts of strawberry jam each summer. Yum! :-)
I love this glimpse of getting back to basics, taking time to create! I keep wondering if this could be interpreted as energy - converting fruit into something else?
@amandal I don't love my kitchen, it is cramped and too full of stuff!!! the jam is all really great, and I made marmalade and picles yesterday, cupboard is full!
