this sort of framing helps create an entire macro world instead of the idea of a denizen close up without the context of everything else existing in just such a magnified state. i find the whiting out of the flower initially distracting but, after having a moment to review the entire composition and process it, it becomes an enjoyable and integral part of the color, texture, and mood of the piece. sharp.
