I can't resist planting pansies, (especially when they are 1$ eh Jo ) I am always drawn to the dark blue ones. However they dislike our winter climate, the constant damp encourages their nemeses the slugs, snails and mildew. The rain we expect due to El Nino will turn their petals to mush.

I love your dark sulking pansies. This shot seem to predict their doleful end. I'm hoping mine will survive the winter - they are flowers with attitude.
