I used an old 180mm lens with a piece cut from a bicycle innertube as a gusset to join it to an extension tube connected to the camera, this flexes to change the focus, lots of variables and fun playtime with blur
Fabulous even if I didn't understand most of what you said and sadly wouldn't be able to put it into practice! Wonderful outcome and even better to have achieved it with a diy LB
