orion from nz

i have seen a few photos of this constellation from different places on the planet, do you know of any? I am fascinated by the way it appears turned depending on where you are on the planet. I am so used to 'the pot!'
I remember the upside down orion from cold nights in Gisborne.

My grandkids are visiting and my grandson is looking at pics with me. He is helping with comments today! He said your pic is cool and he likes the stars!😀

Now here is something different, and yet seasonal ( I know xmas is not your thing). Our sky has been overcast for days, but I will keep an eye out for orion or the plough as we call it....

Well done - there can't have been many streetlights where you are standing!

That's about the only constellation I can pick out, except the Southern Cross of course!

Great shot. It looks the same in Perth. We call it the saucepan.

I call it an hourglass. Doesn't matter much if you turn it upside down. Better if you do once in a while, just to keep the spirit going...
