I like the feeling of wilderness and endless sky.
If this came straight out of my camera, I would first straighten the horizon. If it was to be left in colour I would strengthen the sky, bring out the upper wispy clouds a little and this would probably strengthen the reflections in wet sand.....
I would try it in B&W but only if there were enough contrasts on the gray-scale.
@kali66 sorry to block up your feed, but I felt very strange, even rude giving my opinion. Seems I only say something that pleases me usually, when I comment to anyone at all. It's an interesting thread.
Kali, this reminds me of the Washington Coast State in the US. Photographer Art Wolfe captures rocks like this and because of the critique site, I included a website to show two different ways he has captured them and it seems like time of day and saturation are huge factors. http://artwolfe.com/tag/olympic-peninsula/
@kali66 I went to one of his seminars and had a huge photo crush on him but also learned more about abstract and that in order to make a landscape interesting you sometimes need to find a less traditional subject and come in closer.
