@graemestevens if we are lucky there might be sky drama instead of the flat grey we have had for months now, i just hope it doesnt tear down my greenhouse, we only just fixed it after cyclone Ita. did her worst
Get some advise for protecting the greenhouse: hail and wind may do disasters (some acquaintances of mine had their 10,000 square meters greenhouses razed to the ground by hail a few years ago. A millions Euro damage)
@domenicododaro ouch! our greenhouse is made of old windows and plastic, it is time and labour over dollar value that we would lose, and my tomato plants are late as it is!
oh, dear. sorry to see that you're having such a crappy summer. we're having the best winter ever over here....lots of rain (which we rarely get) and no freezes so far. I have never had tomatoes last in my garden past November and it's mid-Jan and my toms are going strong. Most likely our summer will be a bitch, though.....we'll pay for this bounty with 125F heat for sure.
We didn't have a proper summer either, and it's winter now and it's not a 'proper' winter either (too wet, too mild, too windy). I think our planet is protesting! Beautiful coast though!
