Spent a wonderful day visiting the port of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. We have been meaning to come here for years - and the weather certainly helped cheer me up after the week of torrential rain we have had. Whitby is famous for its ruined abbey above the harbour and the 199 steps you have to climb to get there!
