Day 12 of the month theme challenge - 'lights'. I tried a trial of Affinity today as I need to replace my Capture One Express software and I don't wish to pay a huge monthly license fee. Annoyed that the software that came with my Fuji camera is being 'retired' and I am being pressured into paying for the full Pro version!
Wow! Another blatant cash grab. As I understand it though, as long as the program has been downloaded onto your computer and activated before January 30th you will be able to continue using it. That said, switching to Affinity might be a good idea since, in addition to being a RAW processor, it also has a lot of features similar to Photoshop including the ability to work with layers. It is also relatively inexpensive. I’d be interested to see how your trial goes.
