We planted new autumn fruiting raspberry canes earlier this year, but I didn't expect to get any fruit this year....but one cane did send up a new strong shoot and low and behold here is the first fruit that was ready for picking. I couldn't just eat it on its own now could I......
That’s great! Next year it should be many more. Fresh raspberries are so delicious. We have raspberry canes that bear fruit in early summer. it would be nice to have some in late summer as well.
