@khirsch Thanks, Karin. The puppy belonged to one of the employees and he wanted to bring it in simply because he loves the elders he works with. :)

@kareenking that's a wonderful idea. I know about a few projects here, were people visit nursing homes or homes for elderly people with theier dogs, so the residents can pet the dogs and just sit with them A friend of mine does this.

@khirsch I don't know if they use this term in Germany or not, Karin, but we call them "Therapy dogs" here in the states.

the term therapy dogs is used here as well - they come with a special training in whatever their clientele is- but I ment ordinary people with everyday dogs just visiting -regularly- old peoples homes ( just like your dog or mine)
