Drove along one of my favorite roads and was taken by surprise by the sudden encounter with the reds and oranges that splashed the meadow. By the way, it may be time for a camera replacement. My shutter release no longer functions. Very saddened because I feel that a good camera has become one of life's necessities for my overall quality of life. Just hate shelling out the money for it. :(
@taffy Thanks so much, Taffy. As far as repair is concerned, I already paid a bit to have it repaired last summer. My boys bought it for me used, so I really don't have any idea how much wear and tear it had before me. And trust me, I've put this camera through a lot! So, I fear that perhaps it's not worth repairing again. Not sure . . .
Well, if you're getting a new one, and still want to stay with Nikon, I've been very happy with my D90 and I bet you could get one used for a reasonable price. I just switched to a D600 full frame that I was able to get used, and while I really like it, I can't say that I'm seeing a huge difference yet from my D90 (couldn't possibly be the photographer, could it??).
A great composition and striking combination of colours. I can see why you stopped for a shot. Sorry about your camera. I'm very happy with my Nikon D5100.
