Well, this wasn't exactly Kansas City (or I would have preferred a skyline view), but just outside of Olathe while I was waiting to get on the interstate after seeing "The Grand Budapest Hotel" film with my son. Virtually no time for photography today, so this was it.
@cejaanderson Thanks so much, Jane. The movie is very entertaining, quirky, humorous, startling, and full of surprises. The cinematography is pretty fascinating - lots of horizontal and vertical scenes and movement. So, from a photographer's standpoint, it's a great choice. From the standpoint of story, it's amusing but not that memorable.
