Just returned home from an incredible weekend featuring my second-born son's wedding. I also discovered the gender and name of my first grandchild due at the end of August. Sadly, my dear sister's husband was rushed to ER with some serious health issues that involved a bone marrow biopsy. And such is life, it's the beautiful and the painful in one mixed bag. So more the reason to embrace the moment, such as is depicted in the above photo which happened as we spent a bit of time with some of our kids before Joanna (far left) heads back to Germany in a couple of days.
