So VERy beautiful. Tried so hard to get a shot of some hawks we saw while on the road...but we were going too fast for me to focus and they were perched on a fence post a bit too far for a clear shot. I am envious of this one. FAV
@fugitivemoments Linda, first of all, thanks for the compliment. Secondly, since hawks are a common feature of the Kansas landscape, particularly as the winter draws near, I have learned to exercise both my peripheral vision and anticipation while driving. Hawks rarely let me get too close before they take flight. This one let me take several shots. So, I considered this a lucky moment.
