This was taken this morning at the Tournament Players Championship Sawgrass. Today was a practice round and they let cameras in. Could not believe the cameras and handlers around Tiger. He looked very relaxed and is hitting the ball well so we will see what the weekend brings.
Lucky you talk about right place right time real opportunistic image : looks like he's smiling at you ( did you swoon madam ?) great great capture and thanks for sharing Kathy
@paul2782 Paul, You are so funny! When I first looked at this photo I told my husband Tiger was smiling at me. Haha! But when you look close those eyes were looking at someone else. Honestly I took pictures for hours of many golfers. By the end I was so tired of getting only the side view or back and their hat or handlers made taking the photo more difficult. It was a beautiful fun day! It was fun looking at all of the professional photographers equipment!
@ssimon Stephen, Thanks for your kind words. I was writing at the same time you were. At first I thought he was looking at me taking his picture but if you look closely his eyes are looking right.
@paul2782 Paul, there was a little lens envy! Some photographers had three cameras strapped to them and another camera on a monopod with a gigantic lens. If I was a professional photographer I would have to have a caddy like person carrying my cameras and handing me the correct one at each moment needed! Haha!
@kathyladley The irony is there are very few freelancers over here so they are handed all that gear on a plate it's just taken me 3 months to save up for a 40mm micro lens it's first outing was the daff today !
@paul2782 Wow! That is amazing! I love the photo of your daffodil! Can't wait to see the other photos you take with your 40mm micro! It does mean more when you save for it.
