These bluebirds are courting. Usually when the female gathers nesting material she goes directly into the birdhouse. This time she gathered the nesting material and brought it to the male bird on top of the house. She eventually dropped the nesting material and the male bird fed her the worm. They seem to visit for a while after that and continued making the nest together.
