A travel journal (not mine but I like it).

Oh, I agree -- a ver nice travel journal. My husband once found such a journal that someone had lost in Switzerland, so after noticing it not being claimed after a day he contacted the people whose emails were held within and eventually tracked down the owner and returned it to him by mail. His love of writing made him sure that someone was missing it very much. I saw in your bio that you were traveling in Poland and had a journal now lost -- where you there for holidays? I lived in Poland in 2015 and now return at least once a year.

@jyokota Yes, I was in Poland for holiday, it was in 2002. We traveled for three weeks through northern Poland. I was interested in natural attractions and my friend in the crusader castles, it was a very interesting trip. At the time, I was hoping that someone would send the diary to one of the addresses listed in it, but it never happened. There were big floods in my country then, and one of my friends said when I told him about the loss of the diary: Well, it's like a big water took it from you ...

The author of this journal in the picture is Czech artist Michal Cihlar. From time to time he makes exhibitions of his travel diaries. More of them you can see here: http://www.gallery.cz/cgi-bin/hynekol/aps.sh?VSS_SERV=gobraz&galpre=12120&language=en .

My photo was taken at an exhibition of diaries called Splendid Observation, which took place as part of an amazing festival of small publishers Tabook which every year at the beginning of October takes place in Tabor (Southern Bohemia). More diaries from this exhibition here: https://www.facebook.com/FestivalTaBook (the post from the 22nd of October 2020).
