Turkey Vulture

This guy was circling while we were sitting on the patio and I took what I could. This was the best one.

Hi Kim. A great shot. against the light, one can still see the part of it's underside, lovely take.

Nice shot. It's a turkey vulture, though. They gather along the river sometimes and in the morning they sit in the trees and hold their wings out in a halfway open position to catch the sun's rays.

@belo Thanks Becky, I thought it was but was rushing. I think this one has been in the wars as his feathers look like they are missing.
