That’s so amazing! I didn’t realize they had tongues that long. That explains why they’re still able to get to the nectar in my feeder when it looks low.
@iancam Ian I lived in NJ for 2 years and never saw one! In fact I had lived here a few years before my friend told me she had them on her feeder. I went out the next day to buy one and have had them visit every summer since :)
