There have been some WWII planes at our local airport this week and we even got to see this one fly into land. It was awesome to see this historic machine go over.

I cannot take credit for this shot though, I didn't have my camera with me and so my work colleague Terry took this with his D7000 and shared them with us later.

That's "Nine O Nine." It flew through here in Amarillo a few months back...it's always great to see these amazing warbirds, especially when they are still flight worthy :)

This is wonderful. Where are you again? I think near my brother in NC? They are stationed near Southern Pines at Pope AFB.
