Slowly even the homeline will be the thing of the past, but this is an old sign of Australia Telecom ~ from 1996 its call Telstra.

Wow, that is old school. There are still a lot of pits around with the old logo on it. And yes, as soon as I get fibre to my house (still a long way away), I will be getting rid of my land line.

This is a bit sad to think one day landline will be things of the pass, we get to rely more and more on electricity (mobile phone need charging and Voip is via computer) Still nice to see old familiar thing around....
