To be honest I'm not even sure a wolf spider made this, but whoever it was did a fantastic job in my opinion. We do have wolf spiders around here and they are pretty bad-ass so it's a possibility.
So that's a spider web tunnel? Oh my gosh, you're braver than I am. Nice of him to build his web in between such interesting features as the barrel and the broom
