The sky was strange as I returned from an urgent care visit for (of course, who else?) my eight-year-old. He took a nice spill off his bike but after an x-ray showed his wrist wasn't broken, they bandaged him up and sent us home...
The tech was chit-chatting with him and asked him if he'd ever had x-rays taken. "Yep, I broke both my clavicles before." Which he did. Within 2.5 years. This kid...
love all the red lights,
emergency visits is something i never had to do thank goodness, although my eldest has had a few incidents since he left home.
@fearinnocent thanks Edwin, the little incidents in life... @graemestevens sprout :) :) thank you sir. @kali66 they can be on the stressful side, this was his 5th lol @helenm2016 thank you Helen, he will be soon!
Beautiful sky! Very dramatic. Rather fitting for your day! Glad your son is OK. I can't believe that we haven't spent more time in the ER with our younger son.
Ooh what great drama, both in the sky and at the hospital! Glad the wrist wasn't broken, although sometimes sprains can be more painful than breaks I believe!!
Sounds like my eldest son, always damaging himself and it doesn't get any better once they're, supposedly, grown up. He's 25 now and while we were away on holiday he posted a shot on fb of a second degree burn he'd done to his hand. Not really what I wanted to be looking at from so far away. That sky is awesome xx
You must be pretty tired today after all that adventure. Hope there is a quick recovery for all. my son is 23 and just decided to learn to ride a bike (disability has prevented him in the past) hope it doesn't end up this way . Like the dramatic sky to match the event.

He'll be bouncing around again in no time. Kids are made of rubber. :)
