If you ever have a chance to see "The Science Behind Pixar" when the exhibit comes near your town, I highly recommend it. It makes me want to start my work life over again so I'd get a chance to work for their art department.

@vera365 Vera, its next location will be in LA at the California Science Center (Oct 15 through April 9, 2017), and then after that at the Science Museum of Minnesota in StPaul (May 27 through Sep 4, 2017), so not super-close to you guys... Perhaps it gives you a reason to visit either of those places though? :)
@cjphoto forgive me Chris as I've been a terrible follower to many :( but I was looking for something specific, came here and saw my note to you... Have you gone to "The Science Behind Pixar"? I think it was closing April 9th! (California Science Center in LA)!

It was incredible!! I learned so much about the time and effort that goes into making Pixar films (and anything animation), which are some of my favorite movies of all time. My favorite had to have been seeing how light affected inside the home in the movie Up. I totally forgot to tell you I went, sorry! Thanks again for recommending it! :)
@cjphoto Oh I'm so glad!! I'm so late checking of course :) I loved the lighting on the Up home, I remember thinking it was so cool! I also loved the circle with all the phases of animation from story boards to rendering :) I know you would have caught it regardless of my recommendation ;) yay!!
