It's amazing the impact the first day of the next year of school has for a child's parent... Just like that, I have a First Grader. First Grade! I'm not sure where the last six years went. Very typically though, when I asked her about her day (I thought I was doing a good job trying to control my drilling), she ended up telling me: "After I answer this question, I think that'll be it."
